The Forrest Centre
Security

The Forrest Centre has a modern and sophisticated security access system, utilising a Siemens Advantage Access and Security System complete with CCTV.

Public Access Times

The general public has access to the building between 7.00am and 5.45pm, Monday to Friday.

After Hours Access

Access to The Forrest Centre is provided by proximity card, permitting limited access out of normal working hours and supported with nightly and weekend patrols by the security contractor. Proximity card readers are located adjacent to all access doors, including the inside right panel of all passenger lights.

Using The Proximity Card

  1. Pass the proximity card within 100mm of the reader, the indicator light will turn green when the card has been validated.
  2. If the reader is in an elevator, select the desired floor.
  3. If access is authorised, the door will open and the elevator will operate normally.

Replacement Proximity Cards

If you lose your proximity card, require additional cards or require cards to be reprogrammed, immediately inform the managing agent. New cards are available at cost and lost cards will be cancelled from the system. When reprogramming cards, the card itself is not required, should you know the card coded number.

Should staff leave your company, advise the managing agent so that cards may be cancelled to prevent unauthorised access in the future. The managing agent will contact you regularly for an updated schedule of all card holders.

If you are planning a party, seminar or some other function after hours, please advise the managing agent to avoid any misunderstandings.

Keys

All doors are to be keyed to one grand master key. External tenancy doors are keyed to this grand master key and all internal doors installed by tenants should be similarly keyed.

Contractor Idenification

To assist tenants' awareness of contractors organised by building management to undertake works throughout the building, all contractors are issued with identification badges which must be clearly displayed at all times.

It is requested that all tenants be mindful of this requirement for personnel employed by the building staff, and should any contractor be found on the premises not wearing an identification badge, it is recommended that the Administration Manager of your company and/or the Building Manager is contacted immediately, to ensure that the contractor leaves the premises should they be illegally on site.
